Chicken handi:-
Ingredients:
âȘChicken…………1 kg (karahi cut)
âȘGinger garlic paste……..1 tbsp
(Lehsun and adrak)
âȘOnion ………1 large sized
(Pyaz)
âȘTomatoes……..5 medium sized
(Tamatar)
âȘOil………..1 /2 cup
âȘSalt………. 1 & 1/2 tsp
(Namak)
âȘRed chilli powder…..1 tsp
(Lal mirch)
âȘRed chilli flakes……..1 tsp
(Druffle mirch/ sabut lal mirch)
âȘTurmeric powder……..1/2 tsp
(haldi)
âȘCoriander powder…….2 tsp
(Pissa Dhania)
âȘWhole spices powder……1/2 tsp
(Garam masala)
âȘCumin seeds……..1 tsp
(Zeera)
âȘFenugreek seed…….1 tsp
(Kasuri methi)
âȘFresh coriander as required
(taza dhania)
âȘGreen chillies as required
Direction:-
âȘIn a wok, heat oil and fry onion until light brown.
âȘAdd ginger garlic paste in it and mix it well.
âȘNow add chicken and fry it for few mins.
âȘAdd tomatoes, salt,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,red chilli flakes, coriander powder in it and mix it.
âȘCover and cook for 15 to 20 mins on low to medium flame until chicken tenders.
âȘAfter that, Cook on high flame until oil separates.
âȘAdd cumin seeds, Fenugreek leaves, green chillies, whole spices powder and fresh coriander,ginger,Cover and cook for 10 mins on low flame.
